Jared Leto received an Ear from a fan

Weird and disgusting news indeed. 30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto has told UK radio station XFM that he once had a fan send an ear to him in the post.

Leto made the revelation while he was discussing the topic of the most extreme gifts he’d ever been sent by fans. Unsurprisingly, the ear topped the list.

“Someone cut their ear off once and sent it to me, that was very strange. A whole ear. The Van Gogh move,” he said.

“The note just said, ‘Are you listening?’. I never knew who it was, who’s missing their ear out there.”

When asked what he did with ear, he jokingly replied: “I poked a hole in it and wore it as a necklace.”

He then urged fans not to go down a similar path, saying: “Just don’t put your entire body in a case and send it to us”.

30 Seconds To Mars will release their new studio album Love, Lust Faith + Dreams in mid-May.

Taylor Swift slams Tina Fey, Amy Poehler on love life joke

Taylor Swift slams Tina Fey, Amy Poehler on love life joke

Country pop singer Taylor Swift said that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler jab about her love life at Hollywood's Golden Globe Awards sexist in an interview with magazine Vanity Fair.

During the awards broadcast, hosts Fey and Poehler threw a barb at the singer, telling her to "stay away" from actor Michael J. Fox's 23-year-old son.

Swift, 23, responded to the Golden Globes incident by citing a saying told to her by talk show host Katie Couric that "there's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women."

"For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that's taking something that potentially should be celebrated - a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way - that's taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist," Swift said.

Swift's latest hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was presumed to be about Gyllenhaal while "I Knew You Were Trouble" is said to be about Mayer.

The full interview will appear in Vanity Fair's April issue.

Ke$ha Cyrus Song Penned for Shocking $1.63 Price Tag

A Ke$ha Cyrus song was penned for a shocking $1.63 price tag. Ke$ha authored the 2009 Miley Cyrus the Time of our Lives. But this weekend, Ke$ha tells news that was not even paid two dollars for the song.

Ke$ha in a news interview released this weekend by Seventeen Magazine admits to authoring a lot of hit songs for other artists before going solo. But sometimes, those gigs were emotionally rewarding, yet financially unrewarding.

Ke$ha tells Seventeen Magazine that she loved working for Miley Cyrus. But she is unsure who decided her pay scale. But she tell news magazine that, for the Cyrus song, “It was like $1.63 cents for a song I wrote – I think for Miley Cyrus.” She admits the check was a financial embarrassment. “It was an embarrassingly tiny amount.”

Yet she modestly admits that she was happy for the gig. “But I never cashed it and it’s on a bulletin board in my house.” She also tells news that writing for Cyrus was among her favorite early work. Ke$ha who wrote for Britney Spears and the Veronicas before delivering her own solo hit Tik Tok admits to news that Cyrus was one of her favorite clients. She said the songs were often anthem in nature, devised for a younger demographic.
